Dan Kinney
Dan is a Technology Policy Fellow at International Digital Accountability Council (IDAC).
Dan Kinney is a technologist with extensive experience in connected devices and digital services. He has been an executive at General Motors, Sony Corporation, and start-ups in Silicon Valley. His past responsibility includes software development, user experience design, and operations of systems supporting massively multiplayer online games. He is particularly good at working with stakeholders from multiple organizations to satisfy requirements that don't always align.
Dan is part of the first cohort of the Master of Law & Technology program at Georgetown Law. The MLT is the first degree of its kind. It is a one-year program for non-lawyers to equip them with the legal training and skills to participate in law- and policy-making decisions and discussions.
A National League purist loyal to the San Francisco Giants, he enjoys strong coffee and listening to podcasts on epic, long walks. Dan holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Willamette University in Salem, Oregon.
